The New Hampshire Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty had received grant funding for 2011 to hire 1 or 2 community organizers to work over the next year with community education and outreach about the death penalty.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with New Hampshire's communities; have established contacts around the state with a variety of citizen groups, both liberal and conservative; have experience building grassroots coalitions or movements; know how to develop, publicize and put on successful community events; have excellent organizational and communication skills; work well with diverse groups of people; have a driver's license and insurance.

 The job will include coordinating special events, educational and membership campaigns; identifying opportunities for participation in relevant local community events and creating stand-alone events; developing relationships with key constituencies such as the families of murder victims, law enforcement, and conservatives; representing NHCADP with various other coalition and community groups on a broad range of issues; assisting the Executive Director in maintaining a strong inclusive team spirit within the organization.
