Executive Director Lisa Beaudoin Departs July 31st

It is with both heavy and grateful hearts that we share that Lisa Beaudoin will be departing from her role as Executive Director of the New Hampshire Council of Churches at the end of July 2026.  Ms. Beaudoin began in an interim role that extended into a permanent role to advance its mission: to unite New Hampshire congregations and faith leaders, advocate for the worth and dignity of every person, and use faithful witness of Jesus’ ministry to build a Granite State that reflects God’s inclusive love.

During her tenure, Ms. Beaudoin partnered with the Board, member congregations, and community allies to strengthen the Council as an institution, expand its member engagement, and deepen its public witness. Her leadership has shown her fierce commitment to justice, clarity on the Council’s mission, and steady focus on building relationships.

We have accomplished meaningful work together. The Council is on firmer financial footing, programming is revitalized, operations are improved, and partnerships with our member denominations and their members are stronger. Our presence in the public square has articulated an inclusive vision of our faith and influenced policies on the death penalty, health care access, and more. Ms. Beaudoin and the Board believe the Council is well-positioned to continue uniting our members and advancing our mission.

The New Hampshire Council of Churches moves forward as a strong, sustainable organization. New leadership will step into a solid foundation from which to continue the Council’s programs. The Board gives thanks for Ms. Beaudoin’s leadership and her commitment to continue supporting its work. Lisa and the Board agree she has beautifully shaped this chapter of the Council’s life and feel confident it will continue.

Holy God, we thank you for the many talents, energetic spirit, and significant accomplishments of Lisa Beaudoin as executive director of the NH Council of Churches. She has joined the ranks of Church leaders who, through the centuries, have brought your Word to us today, so that all can align with and worship you. We pray you will bless your Church to fulfill your purpose for creation, and that the NH Council of Churches may contribute to that mission. We pray our neighbors will hear the Good News and that our community may grow closer to your Reign. Bless our members, our churches, and all our work, especially as we transition into new leadership. We pray in the holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Lisa Beaudoin, Executive Director
